Commercial Locks & Access Control

Safe egress. Controlled access.

Commercial Locks & Access Control in Dallas-Fort Worth

A storefront door that won’t latch, staff keys that go missing, or access that needs updating can interrupt the workday. We service commercial locks and door hardware and help you compare keys, keypads, cards, and fobs for the doors you use.

Hardware for Busy Doors

Commercial levers, closers, and exit devices need to suit the door and how often people use it.

Master-Key Systems

A master-key layout can let a manager open more doors without giving every employee a key to every room.

Keypads, Cards and Fobs

With a suitable keypad or reader, you can update access when staff changes instead of relying on returned keys.

Working Exit Hardware

Controlling entry shouldn't block the way out. We consider the exit hardware as part of the door plan.

Access Planning

Choosing Access That Fits Your Building

Decide who needs access to each door

A front entrance, stockroom, staff door, and manager’s office shouldn’t automatically use the same key. Start with who actually needs each one.

For a small space, a rekey or a well-planned master key may do the job. When staff changes often, electronic credentials may make updates easier.

Keys or electronic access?

Keys are simple until copies go missing. A suitable keypad, card, or fob setup lets you change access without rekeying each time an employee leaves.

We look at the existing hardware, power, daily traffic, and number of users before recommending a system. Not every door is ready for a reader.

A closer and latch matter too

A door that slams, fails to latch, or has to be pulled shut is a security problem even with an expensive access reader.

We check the closer, strike, lever, and exit device so the door closes and opens as intended.

Keep exit hardware part of the plan

You can restrict entry without restricting exit. The hardware we suggest depends on how people leave the space, especially on a designated exit door.

Tell us if the entrance is also an emergency exit or fire door. Those details affect what changes can be made and may require coordination with your building manager.

Questions About Your Business Doors?

What commercial door hardware do you work on?

We service commercial lock cylinders, levers, door closers, exit devices, keypads, and related hardware. Tell us what is happening at the door so we can check the cause and recommend suitable parts.

Can access control be added to my existing door?

Often, but it depends on the door, power, existing lock, and required exit function. We check those details before suggesting a keypad, card reader, or fob setup.

Should I repair or replace a commercial door lock?

A closer or strike that's out of adjustment may be repairable. Badly worn or unsuitable hardware may be better replaced. We'll look at the door before quoting either option.

Can employees have different access levels?

Yes, with a suitable master-key plan or electronic system. A manager can have different door access from a staff member; changing codes or credentials depends on the equipment selected.

Do you work on storefront doors and panic hardware?

Yes. We can assess storefront cylinders, closers, and exit or panic devices. The right repair or replacement depends on the door and how people must be able to leave through it.
