Privacy Policy
Last updated July 1, 2026
This policy explains how Blue Key Locksmith collects, uses, and protects information provided through our website and service requests.
What We Collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical data about how the site is used.
We may collect the contact details you submit, the details you share about a lock, key, safe, or access issue, and basic analytics data such as pages visited, browser type, and approximate city.
Why We Collect It
We use this information to respond to service requests, schedule or quote locksmith work, support booked jobs, and understand how the site is used.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for marketing purposes.
Who We Share It With
We share information only where a job requires it, and only the part of it that is required.
We may share information with service providers that host our website, email, and scheduling tools, or with suppliers and third parties only when needed to complete a service you requested.
How Long We Keep It
Quote requests that do not become booked jobs may be deleted after two years. Completed service records are kept as needed for business, insurance, tax, or legal purposes. Analytics data is retained for a limited period.
Your Choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete information we are not required to retain. Email hello@bluekeylocksmith.com and we will respond within 30 days.
You can opt out of any marketing email using the unsubscribe link in it. That will not stop us contacting you about a job you have booked.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are encrypted in transit. Job records are held in access-controlled systems, and only people who need them can open them. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information.
Children’s Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
