The first call
A Conversation Before a Service Call.
When you call Blue Key, you speak directly with someone from our family business. Tell us what’s happening, where you’re located, and what you need help with. A few photos of the lock or door can help us understand the situation and arrive better prepared.
We’ll talk through the practical options and explain the price before work begins. Sometimes a repair is enough; sometimes the hardware needs replacing. If we need to inspect it in person first, we’ll make that clear. You’ll have time to ask questions and decide what makes sense for your property.
The details matter
At Your Door and on the Job.
You’ll recognize us by the Blue Key van. We come prepared and take care of the space we’re working in, including wearing shoe covers and cleaning up afterward. We’re polite, patient with questions, and mindful that we’re working in someone else’s home or business.
Locks protect the people and things you care about, so we take our work seriously. We’ll explain what we’re doing as we go. If the job turns out to be different from what we discussed, we’ll stop and talk through the change and price with you before continuing.

The Final Check, Together.
Before we leave, we make sure each lock works properly and that you’re comfortable using it. Every job ends with a complimentary lock and security check.
Test It Together.
We check that the locks, keys, and hardware we worked on operate properly. For door work, we test it open and closed, and show you how everything should work.
Your Complimentary Check.
We’ll point out security concerns we notice and explain anything that may deserve another look. You’ll know what needs attention and what can wait.
