Terms of Service
Last updated July 1, 2026
These terms govern your use of this website and any locksmith services arranged through Blue Key Locksmith.
Using This Website
The content here is provided in good faith for general guidance about locks, keys, safes, and security. It is not a substitute for a licensed locksmith’s on-site assessment.
Do not rely on online information for urgent lockouts, fire egress, commercial access, or safe work. Call a qualified locksmith for a site-specific recommendation.
Quotes and Pricing
Prices shown on this site are starting points for straightforward work in an accessible location. They are not offers, and they do not account for what we might find once we open something up.
A quote becomes binding once we have reviewed the requested locksmith service in person or from clear photos and given you a written price. If the scope changes, we stop and confirm the new options before continuing.
Scheduling and Cancellation
We hold appointment windows rather than exact times, because emergencies displace scheduled work. We will call if we are running late.
Cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours notice at no charge. Inside 24 hours, or if nobody is at the property when we arrive, we may charge the callout fee.
Payment
Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We accept card, check and bank transfer. Larger projects may be staged with a deposit and progress payments set out in the quote.
Overdue balances may accrue charges to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Warranty
Our locksmith workmanship is backed by the warranty stated in your invoice. Parts and hardware carry the manufacturer’s applicable warranty.
The warranty does not cover misuse, work altered by someone else, or conditions identified in writing that you chose not to address.
Liability
We carry general liability insurance and are bonded; certificates are available on request before work starts.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, our liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the appropriate courts with jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the day you book.
