Safe Installation & Mounting

Protect what matters most

Safe Installation & Mounting in Dallas-Fort Worth

Have a safe that needs placing or securing? Send us the model, weight, dimensions, and a photo of the intended spot. We’ll check the route and mounting surface before confirming how it can be installed.

Doorway and Stair Clearance

We check the safe's dimensions against doorways, stairs, and tight turns before planning where it will go.

Floor and Wall Anchoring

The safe's anchor points and the floor or wall underneath determine whether and how it can be secured.

Dry, Discreet Placement

We consider moisture and visibility as well as space. A damp, exposed corner may not suit papers or electronics.

Door Swing and Lock Access

A safe isn't much use if its door hits a wall. We leave room for it to swing and for you to reach the lock.

Planning the Safe’s Location and Mounting

Check the safe and the route

Send the make, model, outside dimensions, and weight if you know them. A photo of any anchor points helps us plan the job.

Measure the route to its final spot, not only the spot itself. Narrow hallways, stairs, and sharp turns can change what’s possible.

What will it be anchored to?

A safe with built-in anchor points on a suitable surface can be secured so it is harder to tip or carry away.

Concrete, wood framing, and other surfaces call for different fasteners. If the safe or surface isn’t suitable for anchoring, we’ll say so before drilling.

Leave room for the door

A safe wedged against a wall may fit physically but leave you unable to open it fully or pull out a document box.

We check the door swing, lock clearance, and reach at the chosen location, not just the safe’s footprint.

Choose a dry, accessible location

A garage can be convenient, but heat and humidity can be hard on papers and electronics. For sensitive contents, a dry interior space may be a better choice.

An upstairs spot may be convenient, but the safe’s weight and the floor beneath it matter. Tell us about the location before choosing it, especially if stairs are involved.

Before you book

Planning Your Safe Installation

Does a safe need to be anchored?

If the safe has suitable anchor points and the surface can take them, anchoring makes it harder to tip or carry away. We'll check the safe and the floor or wall before choosing a method.

Can a safe be installed in a garage?

Possibly. We need to check the route, mounting surface, and exposure to heat and moisture. A dry interior location is often better for papers and electronics.

How do I choose the right size safe?

Measure what you plan to keep inside, then check the safe's usable interior space, not just its outside dimensions. Leave some room to grow, and check its weight and delivery path too.

Can you install a safe I already own?

In many cases, yes. Send us the safe’s model, dimensions, weight, and photos of its anchor points and intended location. We’ll check the route and mounting surface before confirming the installation.

Where should I mount a home safe?

Choose a dry, discreet location with a suitable anchoring surface and enough space to open the safe door. It should be easy for you to reach and protected from moisture.
