The right method depends on the lock
A knob lock, deadbolt, and vehicle door don’t open the same way. We look for a way in that avoids damage where possible.

A lockout isn’t always a broken lock

Usually not. If the lock is working and the key is simply inside, opening the door doesn't mean replacing the hardware. If something failed, we'll show you what needs attention.

Can you help with a business lockout?

What should I do if I am locked out?
